Hotels & Guest Houses
Hotels have to be licensed, offer dinner at least 5 nights a week and have all rooms en-suite or with private bathrooms. A three star Hotel will have all rooms en-suite, room service and a permanently staffed reception. A five star hotel will have spacious rooms, some luxury suites, a lift to all floors and enhanced services such as concierge.
Guest Accommodation encompasses anything from a one room bed and breakfast to larger premises that may be licensed and offer dinner. Three star Guest Accommodation will offer a bathroom not shared with owners and wash hand basin in room (if not en suite). Self-Catering Accommodation & Holiday Centres
For those of you who would prefer a more independant approach, the Self-Catering option is an ideal and increasingly popular choice with delegates.
Selfcatering establishments are graded using a star system specifically designed for this accommodation category and does not necessarily meet with the criteria required to assess the grading for a hotel. For one-week prices range from £100 - £1400 per unit
