Bay Brasserie opens as Rosetor awaits new role

Last April's newsletter carried news of the forthcoming changes for the Riviera International Centre, in particular referring to the closure of the Rosetor which was mainly used as a public catering area. In March the Rosetor closed and the Bay Brasserie opened in the area formerly known as the Terrace Lounge. This lovely new winebar / restaurant boasts a whole new menu and fabulous views over the seafront, as well as luxury seating on the terrace itself. The food is fantastic and already it is fast becoming a popular eatery. So what of the Rosetor? Well it served its last coffee at the end of March. Because of new bookings, work cannot start until July when we will convert it from a coffee shop to a sophisticated conference facility. As well as holding conferences it will provide a beautiful setting for banquets and parties. These new developments mean the Centre opens itself up to a whole new spectrum of conferences, those that require larger breakout facilities or more exhibition space. It is estimated that as a conference room the Rosetor will be able to accommodation up to 400 delegates in theatre style seating and provide a further 700 square metres of exhibition space.
